Wherever You Go There You Are, by Jon Kabat-ZinnThis is my favorite book on meditation. I recommend meditation to many clients as they work on life balance and overwhelm. Meditation brings about a state of “mindfulness,” a condition of “being” rather than “doing.” Here you pay attention to the moment rather than the past, the future, or the multitudinous distractions of modern life. This books covers different meditative practices and what they can do for you. This book makes learning meditation remarkably easy (although practicing it is not). |

Songs For The Inner Child, Shaina NollThis CD contains beautiful songs. If your heart is troubled–if the news is getting you down–if you feel compelled to pull the covers up over your head, go ahead and do it, but not before you put this album on and set it to ‘continuous play’.These are lullabies, soothing refrains that will work on the deep soul level. Noll’s voice rings like a bell–bright, clear and unwavering. |
